Golden Crown | Composed of three crowns, it connects the upper and lower worlds, teaches hidden knowledge, and acts as a spiritual guide. |
Double Cross Staff | Indicates leadership, combining spirituality, intuition, and action. It symbolizes the layers of learning within the disciple’s soul: the subconscious, the conscious, and the superconscious. Change will occur in all these parts when connected to the truth. |
Finger Position | Indicates the power to execute and intuition, connection to spirituality, and recognition of the truth. |
Blue Veil | The blue veil emphasizes the ability for verbal communication and teaching. It signifies expressive and communicative ability. |
Calm Facial Expression | The facial expression symbolizes self-completion and inner harmony. |
Two Pillars | The gray color of the pillars symbolizes objectivity and neutrality. They represent the oppositions within a person, nature, and existence, with the Priest mediating between them. The gray pillars symbolize the blending of opposites, the mixture of black and white, matter and spirit. The High Priestess also sits between pillars of polarity, but in her card, a veil hides the world behind her, requiring the seeker to recognize and remove the veil to learn the mysteries of their inner self. |

Red Robe Over White Garment | The red robe is a symbol of action, construction, and activity. It signifies the need to apply spirituality in daily life. The robe, representing authority, symbolizes the rule of spirit over matter. The white garment symbolizes purity of thought. |
Two Students | The two students symbolize the Priest’s willingness to share knowledge. Their kneeling posture represents the humility required to receive the Priest’s wisdom and knowledge. |
V-Shaped Straps | The straps connect both sides of the body, linking emotion and logic. |
Chest | A hidden secret is contained within the chest, and the Priest holds the keys. |
Crossed Keys | The pair of keys on the chest at his feet symbolize the desire to share knowledge, but it will only be shared with those who seek it. They represent proximity to wisdom and secrets, the possibility of opening doors to opportunities, and the capability to do so. |
