Meaning of The Tower card

The Tower card in the daily aspect represents a stage in life where things end abruptly. There is a break, trauma, external disaster, an unexpected collapse. The destruction occurs because the emotional, material, and spiritual handling was based on an unstable foundation; the foundations on which life was built were shaky and compromised. The lightning strike that hits the tower and causes its collapse is necessary to bring about change. The Tower symbolizes assets, family, physical and mental health, work, and livelihood. When it collapses, the ground loses its stability. The insecurity that a person feels due to the collapse of all that is familiar and known brings them to a place where what was not understood through awareness is imposed upon them by an external force in a moment of lightning strike.
